Seneca School of Performing Arts
SENECA SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS is a multi-faceted school inspired by the vision of Cheryl Siegfried, founder of Seneca School of Performing Arts, Seneca School of Ballet and director of Storytellers Theatre, our school's resident Company. Cheryl's experience in the Arts began at Syracuse University where she held a duel major in piano and voice while continuing her ballet training at Syracuse Ballet Theatre. After moving to New York City, she trained in ballet with American Ballet Theater (ABT), Nicolai School of Ballet and the Carnegie School of Ballet at Carnegie Hall. She danced at Radio City Music Hall for 2 seasons before touring the country with several Broadway based shows. In 1979 she married and is blessed with 3 children and 6 Grandchildren. Cheryl and her husband have been in full time music and dance ministry for the past 35 years and are very excited to see what the Lord will do this year at Seneca School of Performing Arts!
The School focuses on training young dancers, vocalists and musicians in excellence to use their gifts and talents to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of the annual student participation in the productions with Storytellers Theatre, SENECA SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS offers the young performing artists a unique opportunity to grow, study and perform in a healthy, Christ-centered environment combined with inspiration of the Godly examples of the artists of the Company. The director and the teachers of the school have been called to develop each student to the best of their potential in their individual talents.
1 Corinthians 10:31 "...whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God."
